The Symbol Powerlist 2026 has been officially unveiled, and we are proud to share that BP Group's Steve Towers is one of the 100 most influential people in global Customer Excellence. The Symbol Powerlist recognises outstanding individuals who consistently demonstrate innovation and excellence in business.

The Symbol Powerlist is shaped entirely by the business community through open nominations and voting. As many as 2,500 individuals from 80+ countries were nominated for this year's Powerlist. Those with the most votes made the top 100 list, with their names published in alphabetical order — making this one of the most transparent and genuinely peer-recognised honours in the industry.

Steve Towers' inclusion reflects more than three decades of relentless contribution to the Customer Experience profession — from pioneering the Outside-In methodology to building one of the world's largest communities of CX practitioners through the BP Group.

Steve Towers is an internationally acclaimed customer experience strategist, executive coach, and keynote speaker who has worked with organisations in more than 40 countries. He is the founder of the BP Group — one of the world's largest online communities of CX and business process management practitioners — and is a Fellow of several leading professional bodies.

He is the author of four books on customer experience and business transformation, including his landmark 2026 publication Everyone Loves Great CX. His Outside-In methodology is taught in certification programmes attended by professionals from over 100 countries. He is available for keynote speaking, executive coaching, media interviews, and corporate engagements.
